No I'm not saying it almost happened, but the deal was on the table at some point in the last month. I believe Harbaugh showed interest but wants to make things work in the Bay. But when does he say screw it and go where there is a whole lot more money waiting for him? I would think after this coming season.

You're still listing an old story of an "unnamed 49er source" that denied the report, but nothing about Jed York's denial. Nothing.
Class journalism right there.
They updated it at the end of this article. Nope, no story for York denying it, just a tiny little bit you can't see at the bottom of an article.

These beliefs of yours are derived from what exactly? Erroneous articles like this one from PFT ?

I think that while player decisions may be causing some friction between Baalke and Harbaugh, I believe the main issue is the niners are pissed off for the ineptness of what many fans feel is some of the offensive coaches namely, the wide receiver coach and OC. I think Baalke wants some better coaching in some areas. I don't believe Roman's not getting a head coaching job as just coincidence and Harbaugh may be unwilling to undercut his guys.

More like his pride since Jason Garrett was his hand picked next genius coach in league history. If he fires him he would have to admit he was wrong.

Well, at least they added it somewhere. With nowhere near the sensationalism of the other posts, but it's a start.

historically speaking the Browns would benefit from such a deal. Buccaneers won a Super Bowl 1st season with Gruden (after trading for him). Patriots won a Super Bowl their 2nd season with Bellichick (after trading for him). Draft picks are no guarantee. And no way would this team find another franchise coach for the foreseeable future.

The nfl made a rule prohibiting trades of coaches for draft picks after gruden.
was that rule changed?
This "story" is ludicrous
