I think you hit, I can't believe how much I have distant myself from reading niners, unenthusiastic for games, or even bother to attend games.
This is not fun anymore, obviously 1 win this season takes away excitement but even through the other bad years I had hope and optimism.
I don't know when niners will be revelant again and that's disheartening.

The first time Jim wins the big game...will be his first. Ain't happening.
Very good coach, but not great. Outcoached when talent is equal.
Perfect acute HC for rebuilding quickly. Ideal college HC but will probably never win the big one on any level.
