Why? Harbaugh's teams always start fast and everything is great off the start. It's the years that follow that is always the problem with him. Everyone jumps on board with his who's got it better than us vibe early. Then after 3 or 4 years it's blah blah blah, nobody, whatever. It was all over the players faces in the locker room after games with us toward the end.

But this thread isn't about you.

Jim turned around a smaller college. Took a better job. Then turned around a major college. Took a better job. Turned around an NFL team. Oh then took a better job. And has them ranked within 4 games.

Lol

There is no other way to put it, Jim Harbaugh is the real deal whether you like him or not. Once he can get Michigan's recruitment really going, you can bet the Wolverines will be up there.

This is what real coaches do, they are difference makers.

Jim Tomsula? GTFO!!

Well at least their winning and not getting blown out. At least Harbaugh don't look like a clueless idiot trying to befriend each player and kissing Baalke and Jeds @ss pretending to be a head coach.

Then get new players. These diva players get big heads, want big pay checks and hate working their asses off? GTFO.

There are more great players out there then great coaches. Smallke can't seem to get either these days.

Tomsula isn't even on the same atmosphere.
They still got a long ways to go. They brought him in to restore Michigan to a championship contender and we all know that won't happen overnight but why don't we wait until Michigan wins the Big Ten or beats OSU before we start singing his praises. As for the 49ers and Tomsula. We could of made a bone headed hire but still been right to let Harbaugh go.

So far so good. Many on here thought he would just sink.

He's already proven his worth as a coach over and over. Ask MI fans how they feel about em. I bet you won't find them complaining about how "we didn't win by enough."

And FYI, Trent dumped the big headed Whitner and replaced him with a better player in Bathae. BOOOOOOMMM!!!! lol

Thats pretty much what happens. Players get old or leave for more money.

You can keep a coach around for a long time.

Only the scrubby team change coaches every 3-4 years.

Lol bethea is getting worked over left and right without harbaugh's coaching.
Lol bethea....

There is a laundry list of players that got a payday by playing here and didn't do crap after leaving.

Because harbaugh had a major influence in coaching the defense? That's hilarious. Gtfoutta here with that.

And worked over left and right? I'd love for you to break down that opinion.

Welp, thought he'd be eating it right now but it appears he had what it takes to turn a program around. Ohio State has to feel a bit concerned.

F Harbaugh for not getting out of his own way with the 49ers!

He's still a very good HC.

Harbaugh did it again!! 4-1 already and now ranked 22nd!! Just amazing. Imagine when he has a couple more offseasons to recruit? Wow.

Tomsula couldn't dream of turning around a team, nevermind turning it around in the blink of an eye, literally.

Great thing about college, the players only stick around for a few years, so he can keep that vibe going. Guy is an excellent coach, no getting around it. I've been a Michigan fan for a long time, like when he came to the 49ers, it is a team that had some talent but needed a real coach. Harbs is a hell of a coach at any level.
