What are your thoughts on this kid? The dude is freaking AWESOME! What player does he remind you of...I cant say JJ Reddick, because JJ couldnt create like Jimmer can, and couldnt cross over like him.
Id say he is the best player in the country.
This may be a short list here of peeps that will agree with me, but I love how he plays.

Sullinger from OSU is playing like the top pick in next years draft as well as the AP Player of the year or whatever the award is.
Fredette is good but I dont know if his game will work in the next level. He is very similiar to Steph Curry, but not as good as a passer. I see him at best as a very good 6th man or 4th option starter but I honestly dont see him as a superstar at the next level. Good story though.

I absolutely love watching this kid play in college
but his physical skills, athleticism are underwhelming.
This is a league which is being dominated by explosive young point guards like Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Rajon Rondo.
To be fair to Jimmer, I doubted Stephen Curry too coming out of Davidson. Mostly I underestimated Curry's athleticism and point guard skills.
But even Steph Curry, who is a wizard on offense, struggles mightly night after night on the defensive end against these physical specimens. Even Rodney Stuckey annihalated Curry earlier this year, just overpowering him physcially.
So you have to wonder how Jimmer would fit on the defensive end in the NBA.
I'd take a flier on him at the bottom of the lottery though, because this is a s**tty draft.

Fredette and BYU get all the hype on ESPN because.... shocker,BYU signed a huge deal with ESPN. ESPN wants to hype BYU and Fredette up as much as possible because they have alot invested in them. I really don't think Fredette is going to be anything special in the pros. He will be another JJ Reddick, Bobby Hurley, Adam Morrison, etc.

That's kinda bulls**t dude. If you watched a lot of college bball you'd know Redick and Morrison couldn't handle or create like Jimmer can. Hurley got injured and was before my time as a fan so I cant really say about him. But the guy can shoot the lights out, handles the ball really well too and he has some moves. He reminds me a little bit of Mike Bibby, but with better handles. If he goes to a team that runs the Princeton O or something like that where he can come off screens and cut and stuff he can beast.

I think he's officially overrated, now that he has his own thread.

I don't know anything about this guy, but Jimmer is about the dumbest name I've ever heard.

Jimmer is an awesome name, your kid is destined to be an athlete with the name Jimmer.
And he is a great player. He has range and can shoot from a weird angle which makes him successful. He can also drive the hoop which is nice.
I have him number # 2 in the country behind UConn's Kemba Walker, simply for being clutch and a little better at creating shots.

My thoughts exactly. But I do think there's a place for him in the NBA. Dude has all the shots in the book.

I hope this guy dominates in the NBA because the league needs more white American superstars.
I know that's not the PC thing to say, but Larry Bird said it a few years ago and I agree with him.
Just from a marketing standpoint.

Watch the TWolves draft Jimmer
I think Jimmer can be something in the NBA, again not alot of players like him can create for themselves like he can.
