That's on the QB, 100%. When your receiver is wide open and there isn't a defender within 5 yards of him, it's on you to get him the ball that isn't at his ankles.

that two point conversion forced that play, really. if it was 10-7 there Auburn goes for the FG. People can complain about the gimmicky craziness of college football, but that 2 pt try was all kinds of balls that had a direct strategic effect on the game. Pretty awesome.
