Yeah Jim Harbaugh would be the only coach that hasn't done it in the NFL yet that I would love to take a chance on trying as a HC. Our offense needs this kind agressive and creative coaching.
And could he bring Luck with him.
I don't see any way if he declares he makes it out of the top 5. We gotta trade.
Assuming Luck comes out (and I think he will) he will go number one.

Bill Walsh helped hand pick Andrew Luck, and still people on the draft forum still thinks he isn't worth trading up for.

we definitely wont after we make the playoffs. if we miss out on a great coach like harbaugh just because we sneak into the playoffs for a week or two i will hate jed forever. superbowl should be the only thing that saves sings job.

I think we could provide a lot of things to Carolina in a trade, it's possible but they would have to be content with sliding all the way to 6-10 pick range? Would you really do that if you had the #1 pick? Based on our crop of players, Carolina would ask for either an OT, WR, DB, LB and probably 2+ picks for us to take luck. Even if they did something freakish like a draft and trade and we selected who they wanted and gave us luck for him and picks.
I'm sure Walsh and Luck had plenty of conversations about him staying in school until he earns his degree, that pesky lockout looming over the NFL and Luck's desire for a diploma could really keep him at Stanford another year. Also I know to Harbaugh going to the 9ers would be another dream come true but what if he views leaving Stanford would be disrespecting Walsh and everyone at that program. Plus the 9ers essentially threw Walsh out and for all we know Walsh and Harbaugh might have shared some private words about not liking the current ownership of the 9ers.

I would hope Jed would fire Sing right there at the podium.....Even if we pulled a AZ but actually won it would be obvious that players and not coaching won.

If Harbaug does come here I will hope for Luck to pull an Eli Manning and say he wants to play in San Fran.
How awesome would that be?
