Former NHL head coach Pat Burns-58 (Habs, Leafs, B's and Devils) died today after his 3rd bout with cancer.
Burns had a career record of 501-350-161-14. He won the Jack Adams Award 3 times with 3 different clubs (only man ever to win 3), and won the cup in '03 with the Devils.
Little side note: despite efforts on Facebook to get Burnsy inducted into the Hall of Fame this year; he was passed over. As usual, it's hard for the NHL to hear with it's head up it's f**king ass and I hope they feel appropriately sh*tty about not giving a dying man his final day in the sun. Not letting Ray Bourque hold the cup 1st was one thing; this is absolutely unforgivable.
RIP Burnsy. Your record speaks for itself and your legacy/mustache will live on forever when your inducted into the Hall.
