After R. Bush, will Cam Newton's allegations impact Heisman voters?

After R. Bush, will Cam Newton's allegations impact Heisman voters?

After listening to Gary Radnich this week, he was saying how after the Heisman trophy committee stripped Reggie Bush of his trophy earlier this fall, it will impact how voters will submit their ballots with Newton being the front runner. He says that people aren't going to want to touch a player with a "cloud of smoke" around him.

This makes sense to me, but without a clear up 2nd place candidate, I don't know if that will be reality unless the NCAA actually man's up and suspends him for the SEC title game and a bowl game.

Whether or not the voters admit it, I think it will factor into their decision.

Its a real gray area though, until something is proven.

It should have no effect (but it will). Nothing has been proven. Anybody can throw an allegation out and see if it will stick. It's much tougher to prove it.
innocence until proven guilty. Cam gets it unles something changes.

Agreed and hopefully they can just get a conclusion to this all soon because either way it is not fair.
its gonna take a long time to prove....because really, no money has exchanged hands. Its all about 2 former MSSU players trying to recruit Newton, and being spurned to join another school.

yeah probably his father was trying to pimp his son to MSSU, but the fact is Cam ain't there. That is why this story is out there now.

Cam is the best and most exciting college player this year. Its redicukous how this kid plays.

And it is a shame that this story is out therre, because he will loose votes. He is by far, the most deserving player, and even if he looses votes, he still wins.
