I thought he was ALOT older than that.

RIP Sparky
Very sad day. I was a member of the same Country Club that Sparky was a member of in Thousand Oaks for many years. I was only there a couple of years myself but would often see Sparky on the practice putting green. On a couple of occasions I went up and talked baseball with him and he was the greatest guy. He could talk for hours about Johnny Bench, the Big Red Machine, and of the Detroit Tigers.

I didnt even know he was sick until yesterday. He will be missed.
