Ken_Rosenthal

Full Michael Young story. Developing. http://bit.ly/fuFyGr #Rangers #Yankees #MLB

Too bad he's owed $16 mill per over the next 3 seasons. I like him.

the Rangers would be stupid

hardly. hes decent, but not $16 mil decent.

especially when they are trying to free money to go after Lee, Grienke, or Garza.

16 over 3 years, he is that decent. Hell Tejada makes more than that a year.

haha you misunderstand man. thats 16 million PER SEASON, not over the course of 3 seasons.

he should come somewhat cheap if a team has the cap space. the rangers want cap room more than anything.

thats a pretty scary offense though.

Oh, it gets better. According to Grant, if the Rangers are able to trade him, the would then attempt to sign Adrian Beltre to play third base. This is easier said than done, of course, as Young is set to make $48 million over the next three seasons.

Yeah, I was reading this too. I don't like it obviously. The Rockies can hit and adding Young, who is also a great clubhouse leader, would suck.

I know. I like their young left fielder, I think they should keep him...which is why they will try and get Crawford.

Are they supposed to go out and make themselves worse so life is easier for the Giants? Lol

Hell yes. It can be just like the NL Central when the Cubs, Pirates, Astros do nothing to improve their teams. Oh wait.. Chicago signed Carlos Pena. That should scare the Cards.
