I am flabbergasted that they missed that trip -- who knows if it would've made a difference. But sucks for Boston.
I do not like either team so *shrug* -- seems like this has been a real good series.

If you add Auto Racing and Golf, the 5th best sinks lower.

according to what? the nba finals just got a 17.8 rating, when the f**k did the NHL do that? and the last time MLB got that kind of rating, was when the Red Sox won in 2004...people are dreaming if they think that NBA isn't by far the 2nd most popular sport in this country. ratings don't lie.

It was part of the Emperor's master plan: the ratings. Because of the suspicion of the fixing, the shenanigans of meddling of other club's trades, and the lockout, there are fans totally fed up that they have vowed never to watch another game till the sport is cleaned up entirely.
Ratings are just a sampling so they don't reflect on the true nature how sport fans feel about the NBA.
NHL, despite its lockout, is enjoying a surgence and soccer/ futbol is finally catching on here so those two sports are bypassing the sport of fixed outcomes.
