True but I think to reach 70, Macky will have to be on the 1st or 2nd lines. Roy has stated Macky will start the season on the 3rd line for now.

P.A. Parenteau - Matt Duchene - Ryan O`Reilly

Gabriel Landeskog - Paul Stastny - Alex Tanguay

Steve Downie - Nathan MacKinnon - Jamie McGinn

Cody McLeod - John Mitchell - Patrick Bordeleau

is the projection...pretty dirty top 9 lol

The Avs need to improve their defense. Cory Sarich isn't going to help back there.

They have a few promising prospects in Duncan Siemens and the kid they just drafted Chris Bigras. Ryan Wilson will be back from injury not too mention Stefan Elliot and Tyson Barrie are both young d with a lot of potential, although only Barrie seems to show it of late lol.
wow, stars are crazy right now.

For sure have an elite line in the making though:

Jamie Benn (23) - Tyler Seguin (21) - Valeri Nichushkin (18)

2nd line in the making:

Brett Ritchie (20) - Cody Eakin (22) - Alex Chiasson (23)

Sucks to lose Ericksson but if Seguin can put it together, Seguin + Benn could be freaking amazing

" apparently got so bad that during the playoffs, the Bruins ordered Seguin to live in a hotel, where a guard was hired to make sure he stayed in his room."

dallas isnt boston, hopefully you guys can make him get his s**t together

I live in Dallas though and can tell you.. if you really want to, you can find enough to get yourself into trouble.

Honestly I'm not worried about it. I think some of that stuff is just rumors with a bit of truth to it. Mark Rechi is in our front office and he mentored Seguin when he first went to Boston, so we wouldn't have made the deal unless Rechi who actually knows Seguin said he checked out.

Its a major coup for us to grab Seguin. We have 5 of our top 6 forwards set now and none of them are older than 23 ()not sure if Rithcie can hack it in the NHL, but the others I listed are going to be legit players. Chiasson was a freaking beast before getting hurt, and Eakin is a major sleeper)

Only thing that worries me about the Stars is the future of its D. Brendon Dillon (23) is legit shut down defenseman. Oleksiak will probably start in minors with 20-30 games in the NHL next year, but still a lot of development until we can really rely on him, probably 2 years off before we know what we have. Same thing with Nemeth. Both Nemeth and Oleksiak are defensive defenseman.

We need a top flight offensive defenseman, which is why we signed Gonchar. But he is a year rental...

Goligoski is frustrating, too inconsistent right now to be our offensive defenseman. Maybe we can trade a vet like Cole or Whitney plus prospects to get a top young offensive D.

Goaltending, when healthy, Lehtonen is a legit goalie. But Jack Campbell looks like our future, onl y .905 save % his first year in minors though.

Here is a cool video:

Not sure who the coach is but wow is he ripping those shots. Campbell is at the end, seems like he has a lot of work to do on his glove, seems low, slow, and he isn't as accurate with it as he should be.

It's been a crazy off-season. Bobby Ryan to Ottawa? Curious to see what the next crazy deal is.
