But sucks to only have half a season, no HBO special, no winter classic. Big blow to the league, I don't fans will so quickly return like they did after the last lock out.

This is sad. I don't think they ever recovered from the that strike a couple of years ago and now this.

At least we have the WJCs starting up later this month. I'm pretty sure the NHL Network will be showing all of the Team USA and Team Canada games.

No..they had recovered. Last year was good attendance and viewership wise. Things were looking up for the NHL. This will kill any momentum they had.
