Seriously thought, I'm voting GM Nill for President. Just love what he has done with this team. Parenthesis is when contract is up.
Forwards
BENN (2016) – SEGUIN (2018) – EAVES (2015)
SHARP (2016) – SPEZZA (2018) – HEMSKY (2016)
ROUSSELL (2017) – EAKIN (2015) – NICHUSHKIN (2015)
SCEVIOUR (2015) – FIDDLER (2015) – RITCHIE (2015)
Defense
GOLIGOSKI (2015) - DEMERS (2015)
KLINGBURG (2021) - NEMETH (2016)
JOKIPAKKA (2016) - BENN (2015)
Goalie
LEHTONEN (2017) / NIEMI (2017)
Top Prospects (locks to be NHLers):
Defenseman Julius Honka, Wing Jason Dicksonson, Goalie Philip Desrosiers, Defenseman Jamie Oleksiak, Wing Cole Ully, Defenseman Esa Lindell, Defenseman Stephen Johns
edit: Before this trade was made, there was a lot of chatter that Stars had to trade Daley. He had a horrible year, and Defenseman Julius Honka needs NHL minutes. He is expected to be as good as Klingburg.
I'm a big believer in Nemeth as well, fantastic player that was unfortunately out almost all year (skate cut his tendons in arm). If Jokipakka or Oleksiak can be a top 4 D, this team has some serious potential.

The West is so ridiculously tough, lol.
I was looking at last years standing thinking about which 8 will make it next year. LA, Dallas, SJ, and Colorado would all make playoffs in the East . My early predictions for the West
1. Anaheim - I don't think they are the best, but Pacific is the weaker division. Perry + Getzlaf are damn near unstoppable, and the 2nd line pairing of Hagelin with Kessler is going to create a speed nightmare for any 2nd pair defenseman. The big quesiton is if Bieksa can replace Beuchamin as a steady defenseman eating up minutes.
2. St. Louis - I know, I'm not taking big risks. But St. Louis returns most of the same team minus Oshie. However, Tarasenko's growth from breakout player to star should make up for any offense lost. Their question mark is defensive depth and goaltending.
3. Calgary - A lot of young talent on the team and the addition of defenseman Dougie Hamilton is huge
4. Nashville - Probably the deepest defenseman in the league with a great goaltender. But can players like Ribiero duplicate their suprise offensive output?
5. Los Angeles - The additiona of Milan Lucic should return the Kings to playoffs.
6. Chicago - Salary cap trouble is starting to dwindle the talent, but the core of Toews/Kane/Keith is still the best triplet in the league.
7. Dallas - One of the top offenses of the league, if they can get some decent defense or goaltending they are a lock for playoffs.
8. San Jose - The Sharks are taking a big risk in letting go Niemi and trusting 2 unproven netminders. Oddly, they same to be building their roster for a make it or break it year by not moving veterans Thornton/Marleau and then adding veterans Ward and Martin. Its a gamble the goaltending will work, but if it does they have a lot of veteran firepower.
9. Winnipeg - A quietly sound defensive team, with another year for Myers to adjust, they could be a surprise team.
10. Colorado - A very young team, and the addition of a steady veteran like Beuchamin could make a huge difference for them.
11. Minnesota - Parise and Suter are awesome. But this isn't a playoff team if Dubnyk doesn't put on the most dominating 2nd half performance of any goaltender. I doubt Dubnyk can keep it up.
12. Edmonton - I actually think Edmonton will finally start to be a competitive team. McDavid is the real deal, and adding Tablot in net was a great a move.
13. Vancouver - I'm still baffled how this team did so well in the regular season. Yes the Sedin twins are good, but they are getting older. Ryan Miller is slowing down and I doubt Vrbata can duplicate his 30+ goal season at the age of 35.
14. Arizona - poor Coyotes, outside Oliver Ekman Larrson, nothing is going right for them. The thing to watch is if Shane Doan (last year of his contract, 38) is traded at the deadline to a Stanley Cup contender, would be great to see him in playoffs in his last year.

And the East Coast:
1. New York Rangers - As long as the Rangers have Lundqvist and a super stacked D, they will be a dominant squad.
2. Tampa Bay - A young team that took the next step in playoffs, and I don't think they are just a flash. They have the best 2-line scoring combo in the league.
3. Washington - Adding Oshie and Williams were huge moves. And I don't think its a stretch to say that last year they could have easily been in the Stanley Cup Finals. There isn't much separation between the East's top 3 teams.
4. Detroit - Datsyuk is nearing the end of his career and the addition of Mike Green should help them contend.
5. Islanders - Another up and coming squad, could have used a big roster move to help take them to the next level
6. Montreal - Similar to Minnesota, without a stellar performance from the goaltender the team isn't good enough for playoffs
7. Ottawa - When you have a top 3 defenseman in the NHL in Karlsson, you just need some decent players to make playoffs.
8. Columbus - The BLue Jackets made a push for playoffs last year and have a young star in Johansen. Adding Saad should get them over the hump.
9. Pittsburgh - Crosby/Malkin/Kessel sure are going to put up a lot of points. But they are very thin on defense. I see a Dallas Stars like year for them, lots of goals, not enough wins.
10. Philadelphia - If the Flyers could find some D, they'll find the playoffs.
11. Florida - Speaking of elite defenseman, Ekblad looks like he is one.
12. Boston - Painful offseason, lose young stud in Hamilton and Lucic, as well as Soderburg. Who is going to score for this team?
13. Carolina - What the heck happened to Skinner's development. If he can get back on track they can build again. If not, welcome to the basement for a long time.
14. Buffalo - With some good off season moves this team will improve big time. That is, improve from most talent depleted squad to winning some games. Still a lot of work to do, but Kane, O'Reilly, and Eichel should make the offense decent. Lehner is a question mark. Defense is empty.
15. New Jersey - This team needs to let go the veterans and go for a youth movement.
16. Toronto - Well this team was blown up with some major rebuilding to be done, starting with competing for the #1 pick. American LW Austin Matthews is expected to be the #1 overall pick.

Awesome, I've always liked Oduya and thought he was an under rated player. It will be interesting to see the D-pairs.
My guess:
Goligoski - Oduya
Klingburg - Nemeth
Demers - Jordie Benn
