Toby did good for us back in our playoff run, but since then I wonder why he is on the roster, much less playing on one of the most crucial shifts of a game
Other then Barch/Williams and the group out on the previous shift, I would have sent any other forward

The last two games for the Stars have been devastating losses, we MUST stop the bleeding tonight against the Blackhawks.

Yeah and they pretty much had to, with the Western Conference the way it is any type of losing skid can really hurt you. They couldn't afford to drop 3 straight games against western teams. It was a nice win for the Stars tonight. This is how they need to play from here on out.

After going down 2-0 to the Flyers, Dallas was able to battle back and at least get a point after eventually losing in the shootout. The Stars pretty much dominated the entire the 3rd period and most of the OT, but the Flyers escaped with a win via the skills competition.
At least the Stars were able to muster a valuable point, and didn't give up anything to the Eastern Conference Flyers. But with Anaheim winning, L.A. getting a point, and Nasvhille beating Detroit, that 1 point is somewhat dissapointing.
We end this homestand on Wednesday with a very important game against the Ducks.

Columbus and Minnesota are effectively out of playoffs with losses tonight, without multiple teams completely falling apart

A lot of games with playoff implications tonight. Dallas is in a MUST win game against Trashville.
Kings beat Colorado 4-1 but lose Anze Kopitar in the process, looks pretty bad they are saying it is a broken ankle.

“It’s a broken ankle. He’ll be out a minimum of six weeks,” Murray said. “He’s your top player, your top forward, so there’s quite a hole that’s going to be there now with him out of the lineup for this length of time. But you know what? I’ve been through these kinds of things before, with top guys being out with injuries, and it’s an opportunity for other guys to step up.”

Bertuzzi gets a 10 minute game misconduct for elbowing, sounds like another week long discussion coming up.....
