Kings finally on a little streak. 3 game win streak. 1 point behind everyone besides anaheim in the Pacific, and only 16 GP. Tough game against the ducks tomarrow.
Go Kings!

And Just like that we jump from a slow start and last place in the pacific, to second in the pacific, and seventh in the conferance.

The LA Kings have traded Simon Gagne to the Philadelphia Flyers for a conditional 2013 4th Round pick(Phoenix's pick acquired in a previous Flyers-Coyotes trade)

Stars trade Michael Ryder for Erik Cole (with Montreal)!!!!
Erik Cole was one of my favorite players to watch a few years ago. I haven't seen him play since he left Carolina though.
Also, proposed re-alignment:
The Pacific Division: Anaheim, Calgary, Edmonton, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Jose and Vancouver.
The Mid-West: Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Minnesota, Nashville, St. Louis and Winnipeg.
The Central: Boston, Buffalo, Detroit, Florida, Montreal, Ottawa, Tampa Bay, Toronto.
The Atlantic: Carolina, Columbus, New Jersey, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington.

Not a fan of it. Would be weird for the Blues not to play Detroit much. Take out Colorado or Winnipeg.

this re-alignment stuff is awful. have two conferences like every other major sport in the US, it's not that freaking hard. funny how the eastern teams piss and moan over their travel schedules when the top 10 in miles traveled every year usually contains around 9 western teams. booo freaking hoo.

Red wings were two minutes away from ending the hawks streak until Ericsson went full retard on that awful delay of game penalty. Great game though, feels like a playoff game.
