8 SO's though 6 innings on 79 pitches? Is that all??

LOL Well not too bad I guess. Not as dominating today as first time out but pretty fair.

Plus he had to deal with a s**tty mound. I think that threw him off a lot in this inning.
I would have lost on the over/under with 8.5. Only 8 ks

No s**t.

There's more to winning the world series than having a young stud pitcher. Case in point, the SF Giants and their 2 time Cy Young Award winning youngster.

they have a lot of work to do before they get there, but they are an improving team

They will be very good no doubt. They will have a tremendous 3rd place hitter in the lineup in Zimmerman, a top of the rotation stud in Strasburg, a potential shut down closer in Storen, and the natural in Harper.

Yes but the Giants dont have any hitters with the upside of Zimmerman or Harper.

Ahh. I see. The formula for winning the world series is having a young stud pitcher and 2 bats with upside.

A series? I believe it. Winning it though, that's another story. But I can certainly see them being in it in the near future.
