After televising its first and compensatory rounds during prime time Monday night, major league baseball held rounds two through 30 via conference calls between team officials on Tuesday.

All three managers' teams drafted in the family. Leyland's Detroit Tigers took his son, Patrick, in the eighth round. Patrick Leyland is a high school catcher from Pittsburgh.

The San Francisco Giants selected Bochy's son, Brett, a right-handed reliever from the University of Kansas, in the 20th round.

The Chicago White Sox took Guillen's son, Ozney, a Florida high school outfielder, in the 22nd round.

The 2010 Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year, Guinn was drafted in the 11th round by the San Diego Padres. From El Sobrante, Calif. (Berkeley HS), Guinn started 52 games at second base this season, registering a .978 field percentage, while committing just six errors and making several spectacular plays. He also had 99 putouts and was second on the team with 163 assists. In addition, Guinn hit .327 with 12 doubles, four triples, two home runs, 15 stolen bases and 30 RBI.

Guinn is the son of Brian Guinn, Sr., a former Cal standout (1981-83) and professional baseball player with the Oakland A's, Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox organizations. The younger Guinn is majoring in landscape architecture and owns a .321 career batting average with 24 doubles, eight triples, four home runs, 69 RBI and 26 stolen bases.

Yes and this article says he had Tommy John surgery in April.
