Benfica had a good games against Spurs. just couldn't find the back of the net even with all their chances. Still very please on the way they played though.

Heard Gio Dos Santos played well. I think he got an assist.

Yea he created some good chances. Ruben Amorim underestimated his speed with the ball. He is wicked quick.

Braga and Celtic tied 1-1

Celtic need a miracle or a Braga meltdown to advance. They still need to score 4 more times.

Juarez scores a goal that was clearly offsides but the ref allowed it lol. It wasn't enough though.

Celtic win 2-1 but Braga advance to either play: Werder Bremen (Germany), Sevilla (Spain), Tottenham (England), AJ Auxerre (France) or Sampdoria (Italy)

I liked what I saw from Fernando Llorente in the Cup. He was always that bogey guy in Football Manager that ALWAYS scored goals against me, no matter what.

Dang, he just continues to impress!

As promised here's the Saddlers catch up, having not won any pre-season games we played our 1st league game on saturday on saturday against Milton Keynes Dons. We lost 2 - 1 and by all accounts we were not good. There's a chance to bounce back on tuesday with a cup match against Tranmere at home. Here's hopin!!

The US all over Brazil, who's only offense has been send a long ball to somebody and let them try to take on the whole defense.

Brazil has definitely snapped out of their funk. They went up 1-0 on a nice header, and are controlling the game, now.
