Bay Area Sport: Sharks starting a new era

I think we are once again getting back to a Golden Era for Bay Area Sports. Sharks are leading the way, Giants are following, Niners are predicted to do some things, and the Raiders finally look like they are trying to build chemistry over a national track and field team. Haven't kept with the A's but it seems as though they are playing well also.
Hopefully the warriors get the #1 pick and cohan sells the team and they will be heading in the right direction also.
Save that kind of talk until one of the teams actually does something. All the Sharks did was get past round 2, and the Blackhawks are going to be extremely tough to beat.
Hopefully the Sharks start the new era by at least making it to the Stanley Cup. I don't consider the era to have "started" until we actually make it there.

If we make it, AND win, we've blasted into a new era.

Once it's done, there really won't be anything to talk about except for which Bay Area team is the better team.

I rreaaallly hope so, but I'm too superstitious to cash in my chips yet.

Hopefully, at the very least, our teams start going back to the playoffs on an annually basis from this point.

What did the Sharks ever do to you?

Please tell me you're not an Anaheim or Dallas Stars fan.

They are a victim of circumstance. My circumstance. I don't care for hockey one bit, but HATE the sharks and know that someone I loathe suffers greatly when they continue to choke; which, in turn, brings me great joy.

If they can withstand Ralph Barbieri, then they can withstand this.
