I dont know much about him.
Heres a little bit about him from the Arsenal forum:

I was reading the French felt he should have been in their starting 11 instead of Gallas, for what its worth.

They could threaten for the title soon if they can get some chemistry and coaching.

Yea, plus I like the pieces they are adding. Yaya is gonna be a defensive stud in the mid-field. Silva gives them one of the better young attacking mid-fielders.
I do think they need to get rid of Adebayor. When he was out, ManCity did show chemistry and flare. As soon as he came back, ManCity went back to their old ways. Him and Tevez don't compliment each other well.

Ade is a team-killer ... we Arsenal fans were fine with him going.
Talented player but doesn't fit in to a team at all ... not to mention hes lazy and is called for offside 10 times per game.
And yes their midfiled is ferocious: Yaya, De Jong, Ireland, Barry, Kompany.

Yea...Adebayor was a horrible signing. They still got Philips too in the mid-field unless they traded him. He is a little injury prone but another solid player.
Another issue with ManCity is - Tevez is streaky. He will score 5-6 goals in 2-3 games and then not score for 6-7 games. Then they have Robinho who is even more streaky. They need players who will be consistent - like a Drogba.

Rumours continue to swirl about clubs across Europe pining to take Benfica's Fabio Coentrao. All pretenders will have to up the ante as the player himself has admitted that he owes a lot to the Portuguese champions and is willing to stay for as long as they will have him.
The Portuguese international's words will come as a relief to Benfica supporters as the likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Chelsea are all said to be keen on the left-back. But the 22-year-old has confessed that he would only leave if Benfica wanted him to.
"I will only leave Benfica if Benfica comes up to me and tells me that a big offer has arrived for them and me," admitted Coentrao to Renascenca. "If not, I will stay. I adore being here and it was this club that gave me a helping hand."
"If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have played at the World Cup. Again, if it's good for Benfica, I'll leave, but if Benfica wants me to stay, I'll stay with body and soul to help."
And if the rumors are true that Benfica are going after Andres Guardado and Hugo Almeida we can do some damage in the Champions League.

not to be a dick or anything, but hopefully Guardado stays within the Big 3 leagues of Europe, preferably Spain or Italy because he tends to get injured and I dont think the Premier League would help his injury proneness. Hopefully his rumored move to Valencia happens. He was supposed to go to Fiorentina last winter but it didnt happen.

That would be nuts... if there are actually a few Superstars in the MLS it would raise it's credibility immensely imo.
Btw I'm pretty excited about the Frenchman, sounds like abother Vernaelen. Now if Wenger would just go get another CB and a keeper....

lol Its all good. I wish that the Liga Portuguese was more competitive also. Aside from Benfica, Porto, Sporting and Braga the rest of the league is very very average. So we will see if anything goes down. There have been rumors for a while surronding Mexican playes to Benfica. Dos Santos, Ochoa and Guardado off the top of my head.

Ronaldinho...
In America?
This would be outstanding for American soccer. I knew this would be the case. ex-European stars are drifting to the US, but now even well known players are beginning to come before their careers are over. Ronaldinho was pretty good with Milan and obviously still has something left, but it coming to America anyway. It is a great sign for US soccer.
