RIP Nodar Kumaritashvili

very tragic....

condolenses to him, his family, and his country
So sad. He was 21. This was his life dream -- his family, friends, everyone in his nation were excited to see him represent them. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

To expand on this, they have canceled the entire luging competition pending a new surface or a rebuild of the track.
Thats horrible! My thoughts & prayers go out to his family
That picture of him flying through the air is so sad.
So sad.

R.I.P. Lex Luger

I didn't even know they had wrestling in the Winter Olympics.

Where did you hear they have canceled the entire lugging competition? I haven't read that anywhere.
Sad. They just showed it on NBC. He pretty much flew off the sled, then off the track going 90 mph (FAST) and slammed into a steel pole. There was blood everywhere as they were trying to rececitate him. He pretty much died on impact.
