The Big Hurt

has officially retired

HICAGO -- Frank Thomas has announced his retirement following a 19-season career in which he hit 521 homers and won two American League MVP awards with the Chicago White Sox.

The Big Hurt made the announcement Friday. Considering he didn't play last season, the news was hardly shocking.

With his power and ability to hit for a high average, Thomas figures to land in the Hall of Fame when he becomes eligible.

The only time I really watched him was when he played for the A's...I think he hit 2 walk-off homeruns his first year with us..He hit a HR in his first game with us!

Steroids.
I thought he retired years ago.

Ken Griffey Jr. and The Big Hurt were the s**t
Great player, say who wins a race, Frank Thomas or Bengie Molina?
