Wow, I wasn't aware of this until now. New rims this season. Expect percentages to drop.
Wow, I always assumed the NBA used double rims. Ever since Arenas was talking about college having soft rims I figured NBA had the toughest rims to play against.
Seems like a good thing.
I HATE double rims...its a shooter's nightmare...well...lol, a non-NBA shooter's nightmare

Stupid NBA killed the stream with 4 minutes left in the game... damn I wish the NBA was like the NFL where it's not just on cable channels.

TNT w/Chuck, Kenny and C-Webb = Best pre-game/halftime/post-game show in all of sports.

I was pleasantly surprised by the rims tonight. They were a little different, but I actually thought they were a little friendlier. I got to the game an hour early, and watched both teams warm up. They sound different and the ball reacts a little differently, but they reminded me a little of 80's rims.
After watching them in person, I don't think there will be a problem throughout the season.

Things i noticed from first night of NBA
A. Watching the Rockets highlights, i saw Ariza coming down the floor, thinking to myself ah this'll be fun, get to see how hes doing...He gets by his man, dribbles right into the paint, gives a perfect pass to LUIS SCOLA under the basket and he gets STUFFED, out of bounds.Next play. Welcome to the ROCKETS trevor, hope that works out.
B. Clippers with Blake Griffin back, IMO, makes the 8th spot, or is fighting for it. That is not a bad team
C. Can TOP 10 get over Lebrons dunks??? it was #1 two nights ago, and tonight, it was #2 AND #1. sick, lebron can block ray allen and rajon rondo.

Since you obviously did not get enough of Lebron's highlights
And Rondo should have known better than to try and go to the rim.

how are his highlights against boston relevant? im just saying his block shouldnt be considered a #1 play on top 10

It was a good play. What's not #1 about it? Or should the Rockets white boy dunk have been #1? Now THAT is a rare play.
