Just read that, too. That would be a good signing for New York. But they still need defensive help.
The Rangers are barely above mediocre after you get past the fragile Gaborik.
Dubinsky, Drury, Gaborik
Prospal, Christensen, Callahan are their top two lines, the only other player of note after that is Sean Avery.

As much as I hate to admit it, that is a good signing by the Kings. Ponikarovsky is a decent LW that will add depth to the Kings, he had a pretty good season last year but kind of dissapeared in the playoffs with the Penguins. He's a sure 15-20 goal scorer and is a solid two way winger.

Nothing all that earth shattering, but based on this, you're likely going to have a heck of a lot of former Chicago players floating around in Free Agency next year.
Buff only has one year left on his deal, now with ATL, if I'm correct.

wow. Let Niemi walk? I wonder where he is going to land, I'd welcome him in Dallas, lol
And Turco? Definite downgrade. Turco hasn't been the same goalie, I think its because his whole career he played his game based on agility and athleticism rather then technique and fundamentals. Now that he is older, his quasi-stand up style looks like crap. The good news is Turco will be behind a solid D and who knows, maybe he can find his mojo again.
