Delonte West arrested.

So he pretty much got pulled over for speeding and when he got searched they found 2 loaded handguns, and a shotgun in a guitar case ( Desperado style )

Seriously, why the f**k does he needs 3 different weapons? Should there be a limit on how many guns you can carry on you lol. I do believe that all athletes should be allowed to carry a firearm, too many cases were bad things happened to them, but there should be a limit...

As long as the weapons were registered to him, he won't get any serious charge.

And I don't see anything wrong with carrying three guns.

"Police said a handgun was found in his pocket, another in his pant leg and a shotgun in a guitar case strapped to his back."

Umm, that is far from normal. And especially disturbing and scary considering the guy has "mood issues"

He lives around the area where the police officer pulled him over.

Most likely, he was transporting his weapons from one residence to another, or something like that.

I'm not saying he's intelligent. I just don't think he had any evil intentions, that's all.

Delonte always struck me as a hilarious laid-back guy.

Cavs: West's absence unexcused

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- Troubled Cavaliers guard Delonte West did not show up for Cleveland's first practice and his absence was unexcused.

Cavs coach Mike Brown said West did not participate in the team's first workout of training camp on Tuesday and he did not know if West would be at the evening session.

West was recently arrested for gun possession in Maryland after police pulled him over for a traffic violation and found three concealed, loaded weapons -- two handguns and a shotgun in a guitar case on his back.

West, who has battled mood disorders for years, was in good spirits on Monday and said during the team's media day that he had resumed taking his medications.

Brown said general manager Danny Ferry was handling the situation.
