If you're a fan of long, monotone speeches, more power to you.

First of all everyone knows Jerry isn't a great speaker but you only get one shot of a Hall of Fame speech so why not cover everything you want to cover. There's nothing wrong with that especially since MJ's speech will go just as long as his.

Couldn't agree with you more. I actually started doing dishes during his speech, and I HATE cleaning.

I like The Admiral simply because as a kid I mailed out one of my cards that featured both Robinson and Rodman (as a piston) requesting his autograph and it actually came back signed. I had wanted Rodman to sign his half of the card, but I decided to not take the risk of not getting it back at all. Looking back now, I kinda wish I had sent a pure Robinson card, but as a 8 year old kid didn't know any better. Either way it's a fond memory.

I wish David Robinson was more involved with the NBA. He's pretty much a picture perfect ambassador.
