I agree! If Cotto don't stop PacMan and it goes in the decision I feel that Pac's number of punches thrown and connect will overwhelm Cottos numbers and decision will go to PacMan. But after watching the HBO 24/7 Cotto looks bigger and just as fast! Hopefully it's the damn cameras and production to sell the fight! LOl.

Yea 24/7 really does a number on the manipulation of the fighters. I think during the DLH/Pacman series, they did a good job really zooming on on DLH, making it really hard to gauge how fast (or how slow) he was compared to Pac. All the better to make a good series. Pacquiao throws 800 punches if it has to go to a decision. lol.

roach said if cotto decides to brawl and try to use his strength advantage he will get caught in the early rounds.. if he decides to be tactical.. pac would wear him down and get him later in the fight

he also said cotto would get to pacman a few times.. but after realizing that pacman's chin is stronger than he thought.. he would get discouraged and basically fold

he mentioned that manny is basically a complete fighter now.. and that he isn't even close to his prime yet

man i like the confidence.. but just like any other manny fight which he moves up in weight.. i still have my doubts

It's the night of the FILIPINO HEAT. They have fire in their blood.

Besides Pacman representing...his fellow island brethen Brandon Vera will be fighting senior citizen Randy Couture at UFC 105 from the UK :)
The thing about many is that people are still talking about how he moved up in weight. The reality is that he has moved up in weight with power. He has fought his last two fights at this weight so this is not an issue anymore. The issue is if he can take a punch at welterweight. He was hurt by Marquez at jr. lightweight and at featherweight. In his last two welterweight fights, Delahoya couldn't find him and Hatton was out cold almost immediately after it started.

The most obvious thing to me is that Cotto was never the same after the Margarito fight. You can see that when he gets pressured, like Clottey did, he starts to doubt himself. He has the skills to compete with Manny but I think Manny over all is the fresher fighter. Cotto is a more defensive fighter which means he will find ways to survive the early rounds. The mid to late rounds he tends to lose focus at times. I think Manny will capitalize on Cotto's lack of focus in these rounds and will pressure him into a stoppage.

you know what i clearly noticed on the 1st 24/7 episode? cotto sounded hesitant when mentioning that he would win the fight.. he almost stuttered.. body language speaks volumes

mayweather as much as i dislike the guy is very confident.. it shows in his swagger and it translates in the ring
i regret not betting on the delahoya and hatton fights.. i want to bet on this one but i don't want to jinx him

Don't do it mang...lol...It's not worth betting $100 to win $33.33 lol.

Cotto on the other hand...bet $33 to win $100...

I will give you money just to make sure it won't jinx him
Cotto pre Margarito would destroy Paq, but now that Cotto is timid Paq could destroy him. I still think Cotto will knock him out by round 4-6, I think Manny is to distracted!

That's why they fight though, anything can happen Saturday night...

Did any of you guys hear what Roach said? I haven't heard it yet, but someone told me that he thinks Many can KO Cotto in the 1st Rd! I am a PacMan fan and a boxing fan as well. I also know that Roach predicted the Delahoya and Hatton fight, but this prediction is nuts! Personally I think He's just mind F'n Cotto.
Pac'man packs a punch, but IDK about that. Wouldn't really surprise me if he did though.

For him to say that, I think he's sending in PacMan Balls to the Wall from the start of the round. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's either going to be an awesome weekend or a crapy one. Niners win, Lakers win...hopefully they win tonight also, and PacMan wins?
