This Sandoval worship stuff is starting to get out of control.

Colby Rasmus is one of the best young prospects in all of MLB.

(can't post it regularly..on my blackberry)

Sandoval is putting up some surprising numbers..but really?

Once Rasmus gets full playing time hes gonna be a .300 30 HR 100 RBI hitter

When Rasmus can carry an offense get back to me.

Sandoval carries the offense because SF doesn't have anyone else..

The other day on Baseball Tonight a guy said he'd give $10 to anyone (other then a Giants fan, or a hardcore baseball fan) that could name the Giants starting lineup.

Isn't your cleanup hitter Aaron Rowand or Randy Winn?

Rasmus isn't being asked of that yet.

And yet we lead the wild card..

And yet we lead our division..

And yet we have a better record..

But you won't make the playoffs

Cardinals already made it?

When did I say that?

Once Rasmus gets full playing time hes gonna be a .300 30 HR 100 RBI hitter..as well as a 5-tool player.

I wasn't talking about that , I was talking about us posting basically the EXACT same thought 1 millisecond apart, two different times in the last few pages of this thread. Sandoval is a good young player, so is Rasmus. Anything further than that is a pissing contest IMO.

Oh, alright..lol but seriously..this Sandoval s**t is nuts.

Soon hes gonna be better then Pujols..

Right now Sandoval is better than Rasmus, and he carries his offense. Sandoval is CLEARLY not better than Pujols, but if he is even 3/4's as good I will be happy with him. Don't get upset at Giants fans for being excited about a home-developed position player. We haven't had offense since Bonds left, we're allowed to be excited.

I'm not at all. Sandoval is a good player and is having a fantastic season so far..but the homerism with this guy (since the All Star voting) has been out of control.

Don't you think he deserved to be in this? Over Shane Victorino? I mean, come on.

Its a close call..both players have an argument on why they should be there.

Phillies fans got him in over the Giants fans.
NL might have won if Pujols hasnt sucked so bad. Makes an error letting in run and then is pathetic at the plate. Fricking Cardinal. j/k

He is the best at his position in the NL offensively up until this point. I'd say he deserves it more than Victorino. I think people are just upset about how he deserved to get in and didn't. It's not like anyone's crying about Brian Wilson or Bengie Molina not getting it.
