Wow.

But to answer your question...Brandon Bass.

Well this is the thread to discuss such topics. That other thread is to talk about Lewis being caught cheating and the following suspension.

Glad you understand that.

It seems that you don't.

Ok Stoney.

hopefully do enough to win lol.

mostly see brandon bass at the 4.

against bigger teams such as boston (who we play early on), you might see gortat at PF.

matt barnes is somewhat capable of playing the 4 as well. he filled in for amare in phoenix.

who knows though. we'll have to see what happens.

The way you guys were jocking Bass so hard, I hope he pulls through for you guys. I'd hate to have a 5 page battle somewhere down the line explaining how he never lived up to expectations (and the subsequent shots taken at me that have nothing to do with B-ball ).
Damn you Rashard....

At least you were man enough to admit the use and how you got it. See you back in the game against Charlotte.

Admit the use after he got caught? Yeah, a lot of honor there.

Here we go with you again...

He got caught. He admitted it straight up, which is better than most of the athletes out there. Did I think he was stupid? Of course, I thought it was blatantly stupid. I am mad that he did it.

But good lord if we cant forgive people for mistakes.....................

If he wasn't on your team, I can guarantee you wouldn't be so quick to forgive.

Bass Could Start For Lewis During Suspension

The Magic could insert Brandon Bass into the starting lineup with Rashard Lewis serving a ten-game suspension to start the season.

Even before the All-Star forward's suspension for violating the league's anti-drug policy, Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy hinted that he could put Bass in the starting lineup as a power forward while shifting Lewis to small forward.

Now, it's almost certain that the Magic will start Bass at power forward and slip either Mickael Pietrus or Matt Barnes into the lineup in place of Lewis.

"You're going to start now for sure two new people and maybe as many as three for the first 10 games of the year," Van Gundy told the Orlando Sentinel. "Like with anything bad that happens, and this is certainly something we didn't want to happen, there's always a silver lining. And the silver lining here will be that a lot of those new faces, pretty much all of them, will get a significant opportunity early in the year. I think right off the bat we'll get a better indication of where we want to go in terms of lineups and rotations when Rashard gets back."

i don't remember ever taking any shots at you

i do recall getting my panties in a bunch when you picked the lakers in 5.... annnnnnnd that came back and bit me in the ass. so i'm done lol.

but yeah, as far as bass living up to the expectations... wouldn't be the first time i over-hyped a player on orlando

Lol, isn't Bass the starting PF anyway? Lewis at the 3 and Bass at 4?

This is nothing new

stan told barnes he has his starting 4 in place.

Howard
Lewis
Barnes??Pietrus??
Carter
Nelson

He told Barnes that him and Pietrus will be fighting for that starting SF position. I think we sill see plenty of Bass this year, but Lewis will still start.

Thats fine and all..but I'm happy we now have the big guys to match Boston and Cleveland. I mean, we won 59 games w/ Lewis at the 4 so I guess thats not a bad thing?

Nelson
Carter
Pietrus
Lewis
Howard

Barnes, Bass, Gortat, Anderson, Redick, CJ Watson??, Johnson

Then, if we wanna go big...

Nelson
Carter
Lewis
Bass
Howard

Barnes, Pietrus, Gortat, Anderson, Redick, CJ Watson??, Johnson
