I have only heard of two of these guys.

Shannon Woods! He ran for 12 or so TDs last season and considering TTU hardly ever runs, that is an accomplishment.

Did Graham Harrell get into the league yet??

He's decided to wait until NFL training camps to see if he gets a look.
He supposedly has 5 NFL teams talking to him.
If I were him, I'd go straight to the UFL, in a couple years at most he'd be starting ... but he's chasing the big dream.

I agree, UFL would be the best route for him. But maybe hes thinking he get get on someones PS and get paid $5,000 a week for 16 weeks, compared to $35,000 for 8 weeks.

I guess he was sick of waiting for a phone call, He's going to be playing for the Roughriders in Canada.

I thought San Francisco had Tim Rattay:

Former NFL journeyman QB Tim Rattay will be playing for Las Vegas of the UFL this season.
The sad part is Rattay signed on to hold a UFL clipboard as J.P. Losman's backup. Or maybe he knows something we don't about an NFL team wanting to give Losman a shot. Either way, it's strange that two of the better quarterbacks in the UFL are on the same team.

when are they releasing team mascots and colors?

I thought so as well. Isn't that where he got drafted? Maybe SF traded him?

California Redwoods. All teams are wearing bright colors. Like the Blue sad face in your post is one of the teams colors. and this green in the vomit face

when does the season start? next year?
I just checked out the local team's page, the California Redwoods. Their Jerseys are mainly Kawasaki green - what does that have to do with Redwoods? I also noticed that Versus Network is going to televise their games. Of course I have Direct TV, home of the NFL Ticket, but Versus is currently not available on Direct TV because Comcast (the owner of Versus) is sticking it to Direct TV (BTW, if you complain to Direct TV about this, you should get three months of free Showtime or something similar to placate you). So I would kind of like to follow them, awful uniforms and all, but it's going to be hard without televised games.

On Thursday night, strong safety Tony Parrish will be staked out in the defensive backfield, carefully surveying the eyes of quarterback Mike McMahon, looking for any clues that could lead to a game-changing interception or bone-jarring open-field tackle.

Just a few years ago, that scenario would have been played out in front of 75,000 fans and a worldwide audience of millions, but on Thursday it will happen in the cozier confines of Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, where 20,000 curious onlookers are expected to show up for the opening game of the inaugural United Football League season.

McMahon, part of the San Francisco-based California Redwoods, will be squaring off against Parrish and the Las Vegas Locomotives. The other two teams in the league are the New York Sentinels and the Florida Tuskers. The eight-week season will be capped off by a championship contest between the two top teams on Nov. 27...
