I will root for whoever Graham Harrell plays for.

Is he going to play in that league??

Damn only 4 teams, that's like a 8 game season, I hope more cities get involved. Would love to watch football around the year.

I heard the games are going to be during the nfl months but that they will be played on Thursday nights.

That sucks!!!

They need to have it in the off-season so they don't have to share the spot light.

Their reasoning was that football is typically thought of as an autumn-winter sport so it's best to have it during those months.

well these be televised by abc cbs and all that s**t?
I don't know if it will be televised on good networks or anything, but supposedly they have secured enough funding that they will be fine through the 2011 season at least.

The thinking is that the UFL wants to be around after the potential lockout when the league/union contracts are up to give striking players a place to play.
Seems like a good idea.

Tim Rattay and possibly Mike Vick is headed to the UFL also. Linkster

Could the UFL give the NFL a run for its money?? I wonder if the UFL and NFL will work together to allocate players for development??

I wish there were more teams!!!

Tim Rattay quote on Twitter about joining the UFL.

"Yeah if I had Gore and Antonio Bryant and Vernon Davis(look at Eric Johnsons stats when I threw to him) = wins"
So I guess the "draft" is tonight. I don't know what the exact process of picking players is. Apparently they sit around and figure out who should be where. Does anyone care if anybody in particular ends up in SF? Tim Rattay perhaps? Vick?
