Until he fights a pro boxing match, this should be on the MMA thread.

We were discussing boxing the entire time. Stop being such a negative nancy.

They are talking out their ass. Generalizing Conor with the rest of MMA fighters, he is different. Dude is a boxer that chose to pursue MMA. His hands are ridiculous. But all boxers, analysts, and fans are bias towards their sport when they have never truley studied Conor's boxing skills.

If he's a C level boxer then enough talking, sign the contract and prove it Floyd.

i dont think you realize how ridiculous you sound. maybe you are trolling idk. money has been doing this for 2 decades. undefeated. untouched. what on earth would make you think a person who has never fought in a pro boxing match could take on the goat?

do you honestly think lil mac could beat dela hoya, mosely, cotto, marquez, pacman, ortiz, alverez or maidana in a boxing match?

In their primes, no, but a 40 year old Floyd? Maybe. And a 37 year old Paqiauo who is 5'5" compared to Conor who is 5'9"? Defintely. Even 49AllTheTime acknowledged that he thought Conor would beat Manny.

UFC sensation McGregor stirs talk of nearly $1B super-fight with boxing legend Mayweather

"To create a merger, per se, of a superstar like Mayweather with a UFC superstar like McGregor would be explosive, monumental and one of a kind," Root said. "It would also bring wagers from a massive younger generation that is no longer interested in boxing. It would have the potential to blow away the betting totals we saw for Mayweather-Pacquiao."

"As far as real fighting... as far as true pure unarmed combat... Floyd don't want none of this," McGregor told a crowd at a New York City nightclub in November following his latest victory at UFC 205, where he became the organization's first fighter to hold title belts in two divisions.

"I want $100 million cash to fight him under boxing rules... he's afraid of a real fight," McGregor said in a video obtained by TMZ.

Yah I disagree with them somewhat. BJ Penn has the best hands I've seen to date FROM AN MMA FIGHTER . Conor is somewhat wide open but can make crazy weight. Once CM can't make weight anymore his career is over.

BJ Penn had great hands but not better than Conor. Imo McGregor and Silva are the best boxers in MMA history
