There are a lot of quality fights in and around LA coming up. I am hoping to make it out to a few.
MATTHYSSE!!!
Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank and Golden Boy President Oscar de la Hoya are discussing a possible megafight between boxing superstars Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez according to the Los Angeles Times. If the fight happens, it would be the first major co-promotion between the rival companies in five years.

Oscar also told the Times that his widely publicized internal squabble with Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer has been resolved with Schaefer getting an extended contract until 2018. “If anyone with Golden Boy has any differences with Bob, it’s on them,” De La Hoya stated. “I have nothing against Bob and I feel making fights with Bob is beneficial to the fans and the market.”

a lot of things to work out but I hope it becomes a reality.
man i could see canelo knockin' pac out lol.. don't do it manny
thurman doe.. i'll be watchin' that fight
A possible shake up ay GBP over working with Top Rank on future fights.

Earlier this week, Golden Boy President Oscar de la Hoya told the LA Times that “If anyone with Golden Boy has any differences with Bob (Arum), it’s on them. I have nothing against Bob and I feel making fights with Bob is beneficial to the fans and the market.” Oscar also commented that his reportedly turbulent relationship with Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer is now “peaches and cream.”

However, today the Times reports that Schaefer has expressed “no interest” in working with Top Rank. “Last I checked, I was CEO,” Schaefer told The Times. “Unless Oscar wants to change that…I’ve been running Golden Boy since the beginning. If he wants to change that, since he’s the majority shareholder, and decides he wants to fire me, I can’t stop that.”
