That's what the HBO crew believed. Amateur fights are not pro fights. Salido made it a rough fight. Too bad this kids handlers wanted to throw him in too early.

Hopefully he can learn from this moving forward.

Really disappointed in his performance, though. I don't like all the holding... looking like a mini-Klitchsko.
this chavez jr. fight is decent..
that doot vera got a chin though

Perro is a bad match for Canelo IMO.Both like to actually fight, not pop shot and run like ya boy Floyd. This will be fought in the trenches...for the fans and the sport.

T u trippin. Nobody actual likes to stand in the trenches. They may say it cough rios cough bob.

You see some are gifted enough to b able to actually walk and chew gum at the same time.

Those Mexican niccas do. Its a macho type thing.Just like Vera/Chavez last night. Both didn't have to fight head to head like that, even Veras' corner told him not to,but they heard the crowd going nuts and just kept hitting each other with their best shot. Fight of the year candidate but the last two minutes were just Chavez getting TOO much adreneline. You can see that he gets off on that shti doing weird ass stuff when the crowd gets crazy.

Salidos low blows ,elbows, and Lomanchenko STILL almost kod his ass. Those holds helped Salido. Vas needs to hit the weights doe for more power.

Lomachenko spent most of the fight holding like a Klitschko... maybe he spent too much time in the Ukraine?
Salido just pulled off an upset over a one fight pro.
Mexican niccas lol.

Didn't realize how many good mofos Virgil Hunter trains.

Angulo
Khan
Berto
Ward

pretty cool to see them all hang out with each other.
Yeah, he probably has the best stable of boxers right now. Joel Diaz has a good, young stable too, Tim Bradley, Omar Figueroa and a couple of really good prospects whose names escape me.

That's what HBO wanted you to believe.

Have to throw in Robert Garcia. He has Donaire, Maidana, and his younger brother and Rios. He has a lot of young fighters that he is developing as well. He has at least one fighter in all the local shows here.

Chavez Sr. made a career of it. So did Margarito. Angulo and Maidana are the same type of fighters where they do the best work in close. Some dudes like contact.
