On the 2014 figures, why do we have dead money on AJ Jenkins if KC signed him?

His signing bonus proration goes on the cap as dead money. Since it was already paid out when he signed his rookie deal.

If Brock continues to hold up, is there the potential of signing up to a multi year deal?

Just an update, we have about $2.055M in cap space right now. Will go up with cuts coming for returning NFI and PUP players.
So we can see about $10M in cap room come 2014 to start with.
We can save $5.1M by cutting Carlos Rogers, or we can get him to do a pay cut, like Ginn did, where he eliminates his remaining year, and becomes a FA earlier.

Yeah, thought as much, this day and age.
Was doing a GM mock and figured the "agent" wouldn't know much about him, so I sent him a 3 year offer that averaged close to 3 per. He wanted to cut it to 2 yrs to allow Brock another chance at a big contract before age catches up to him. I said, "sure!" ... and think I got Brock signed for a steal, hehe...
2014 - 1.1 mil base salary --- 1.5 mil signing bonus -- 2.6 mil cap hit
2015 - 1.3 mil base salary --- 1.5 mil signing bonus -- 2.8 mil cap hit

Salary cap update.
My numbers show a cap space amount of $2,779,539
NFLPA's cap report shows $2,688,415.
It's only a difference of $90,944, which could be the Settlement for Lamar Divens, which I have not been able to get from anyone or anywhere.

Kap wont crack 10 mill at this point. I wouldn't go over 8 mill right now.

He'll be lucky to get $60M in a new extension if he continues to play this way.

He's playing himself into that same 3-year deal we gave Alex Smith.

If we're going to extend Kaepernick, which I expect we will, I hope it's done soon. We could potentially get a nice bargain for him, assuming he actually reaches his potential down the road.
I'm hoping we can work something out with Crabtree. His contract would set us back, but the offense is garbage without him.
