So it's better to stick with the PR nightmare that keeps f**king up no matter how many times he's given another chance by his employer?
was said many times
make him inactive so he couldn't play during the last few weeks of the season
cut him in the off season and SAVE $4.6m on the 2015 cap

We never would of seen that much money. He was scheduled to have like a $5.6M cap hit in 2015.

but they would have saved some this year and got hit bigger next year was my understanding
anyway oh well that's over
Q: What is the actual spending amount the 49ers have right now?
Don't they need so many millions for the draft?
What kind of realistic contract could they offer to a player like Dockett?

AB where do you think the next cap savings will come from now that we have signed Dockett and Simpson. I still think, Dahl, Dawson and Jonathan Martin might be on the block along with a cut or restructure of Stevie. Do you think if they do decide to cut Brooks they will make it a June 1st cut?

I think Brooks will be a June 1 cut(Designated on March 10th when allowed).
I hope Stevie takes a pay cut.
Kap could redo his deal for 2015.
Dawson, Dahl, Martin could be cut candidates, all in last yr of their deals.
Willis and Bow could redo their 2015 year, Willis could be extended too.

I think Dawson stays for sure. He is great and worth it.
Dahl and Martin would save about 4 and gabbart about 1 mil correct?
That's 5 mil.

Gabbert was on a 1 yr deal he doesn't count against the cap.

s**t. Sorry about that. I thought he had 2 years left.
Besides Martin and Dahl who else could we cut? Not restructure but cut? I'm sure about brooks being gone but not counting him until after June 1st. That won't help us in Free Agency.

check out over the cap's numbers most of the guys making a mill + are most likely to be on this team next season with the exeption of Stevie possibly Brooks & Justin Smith other then that most young cats are under the mill catagory. You just cant cut anyone without taking a significant cap hit for next season thats the problem.
