Will we compete for a Superbowl next year?

Yes, IF we hit on five positions in the off season. A new Center, guard, corner, linebacker, and edge rusher.

If we do that, we can win the Super Bowl next year. That's why I want Jenson and Norwell in FA to take care of the line, and Kyle Fuller to take care of corner. Draft Roquan Smith at linebacker, and that's four high probability significant upgrades.

The question will be edge rusher and finding someone in FA or the draft that can get pressure. If we can find all these, we can beat anyone next year and win it all. I think we go 12-4 or better if we do this. 13-3 would be a bonus to match the 1981 squad.

Well we smoked the Jags and Titans with almost no talent. If we have a decent offseason, I don't see why not. There are no dominate teams in the NFC right now.

Well, it is worth noting that only one of the 4 teams left have a stud QB. The other teams are all in the top 4 on defensive rankings.

If anything, this season is showing that great defense does give you a better chance of getting to the bowl.
