This is the defense I want to see on opening day to start...Armstead Thomas Buckner Dumerville....Bowman Foster Smith...Robinson Witherspoon Ward Reid... Johnson the nickel.. NOW if we can get any resemble of the 2011-2013 Niners D that carried us to three straight NFC Champ games it will have to be from the new pieces we added. Solomon Thomas - Justin Smith. Rueben Foster - Patrick Willis. Elvis Dumerville - Aldon Smith. Brentson Buckner - Ray McDonald. Rashard Robinson - Chris Culliver. It starts with the D... I like the new talent we added on D and if we can get these new pieces to fill in for the pro bowlers we lost past few years on D it will be a step toward that ring. We need that old Niners D back this year and I can't wait to see how it unfolds.
