Best story. Best potential. Best fit. Best value. Consider everything. Favorite selection from the draft?

Fosters potential if he stays clean is off the charts.

Froster for sure! But Williams story is intriguing too, especially since Lynch had him off his board.

Just can't help but like Foster. Got the talent and very personable personality.

Foster, especially the way we got him ahead of the Saints. That was pretty epic!

Foster. Marks for Williams. A nod of the head to Beathard
Thomas probably has way the most impact of course.

Definitely Reuben Foster. To get him at 31st overall was absurd. I have a few concerns about some possible immaturity, but I think he's going to be a great player.
Runner-up is Joe Williams. I like the story of how Lynch originally had him off the board, but reconsidered because Shanahan liked him. So he called the kid and was won over by what he went through and how he bounced back. Kid finished on a tear last year. I hope he succeeds.

Foster. Will probably have the best rookie season for us.

I'm excited about a whole lot of our picks, but it has to be Foster.
Linebackers coach Johnny Holland, the former Packer, couldn't believe what happened. "I thought he'd be a top five pick. He's one of the best three, four linebackers to come out of college football in the last 10 years."

Best fit for me is anyone competing against all Baalke players at their position so from the draft that is TE or S.
George Kittle TE
Adrian Colbert, S, a close 2nd

Foster. If Thomas ends up being Justin Smith it will be a toss up between Foster and Thomas.
Either way we should hit on one of them (at least).
As far as value, as of now Foster had more value at #31 compared to Thomas at #3.

WOW! Good question with a lot of good answers.
The way we got Foster and his potential is a great story.
Thomas will be worth his pick #.
For me, there are three that are "favorites" for different reasons:
I love an underdog so I love the Beatherd story. The guy no one wanted but his coach.
Kittle is also in the same category.
Personally, I have a soft heart for a guy who has the strength to allow himself to be transparent about the challenges he faces in his life. That guy is Joe Williams. If his story does tug at you a bit then you are just someplace else. I look forward to him taking over the #1 RB slot by mid season.
Just me...
