Yeah, It's basically $9.6M APY for 3 years, that's when you include the entire $12M signing bonus, now if you don;t count that, it's a $24.2M deal, or $8.066M APY, but either way he won't get the $22M in 2020/2021, as those are dummy years, they most likely void after 2019. But I suspect that as long as he is still playing well, and Shanahan is HC, he will get a new deal, which will be lower than that.
Thx for the breakdown kind sir.
Looks like Robinson will try and play the Gabriel role.
Funny thing is I'm okay with not signing anybody else...but there will be more action within the next 72 hours.
With Perry gone I'm shifting my attention to Hightower,Timmons,Barwin,Alexander,Poe,Hankins,Bennett,Pryor,Terrance Williams. Would love to try and make a trade for Trumaine Johnson IF they're willing to tackle on a couple of our players to fit their 3-4 along with a pick.
No problem, any time.
I would, personally, love to sign Hightower, Hankins, and then look at some low end guys, I'm not sure Martalius Bennett will happen, $9M a yr is a lot. Plus it will be near impossible to unload Vance McDonald's contract, while it's cap friendly, we can;t get out of it this year by cutting him. Not sure what Jed was thinking when he gave the ok to extend Vance.
