Well Mike McCoy just got fired.

We all need to understand that with Paraage having a role in this there isn't true culture change coming.
Likely not a GM with real power being installed.

As long as it remains the Jed and Marathe show, its going to be hard to muster any optimism that this team will ever get their act together. You have two guys that don't have the most basic understanding of what it takes for a successful football organization to run properly.

Marathe might have all his statistical analysis and data to back up what he thinks is required for success but the 49ers have been using that approach for the past 16 years and the only guy who worked out was one who opposed one of Marathe's key principles for successful head coaches(don't hire a college coach).

Why do some keep saying they want Riddick's? What do yall know about him?

He's been on TV, like Lombardi, for a while now...for a reason.

Remember him being rumored as a candidate for our GM in 2011 because he can lure in Harbs. His plan was to trade whatever it takes to get Hoyer as the starting QB.

Dude is sharp as hell and has never gotten a shot at gm. Been in personnel for a few different teams for 12 years.

Brandon Beane would also be a good candidate.

We should get that baalke guy. he won executive of the year in 2011.
