I know the search will start soon, so might as well start now.

I would at least like Jed to call for interviews with

Paoli
Wolf
Young.

I know young is as much of a long shot as can be. But he is a good talent evaluator, knows what it feels like to be in a winning franchise, is well-spoken, very intelligent, and knows what to look for in a franchise quarterback.

What is the fascination with Pioli exactly? He got run out of town on a rail in KC. Made a lot of bad personnel moves and managed to piss off a lot of people within the building with his ridiculous micromanaging style.

Wolf is not leaving GB and Decosta is not leaving Baltimore. They are both setup to be future GMs in stable, successful organizations.

You can't model the 49ers to GSW because the Warriors owner is willing and actually doing research while the Yorks are walking blind hoping they strike gold.

Pioli is a proven drafter. This is a drafting league. KC was a mess but he still was hitting on picks

How is he proven? The only time he had actual personnel power he ended up taking Tyson Jackson with a Top 3 pick. Chiefs fans hated him more than 49ers fans hate Baalke.

He never had personnel power in New England. He doesnt have personnel power in Atlanta.

So where is this proof?
