I suppose front office organisation and drafting skills would not be at the top of the list?

Aside from the defensive line nothing about the team is a strength
Not sure how the defensive line is a strength when we have no pass rush and suck against the run. Seems like wishful thinking for people hoping we can build around Armstead and Buckner, but Armstead has shown nothing to date.
The secondary is below average, but not awful. Not sure I can call it a strength, but it's less of a weakness. Special teams is probably the biggest strength.
DL is probably associated with talent, youth and ceiling. But in terms of production, it wasn't until game 8 when Dorsey was inserted back into a starting role at NT, AA and his dead arm were removed and we platooned Dial/Jones at LDE that we started to look a lot better there. Losing Williams and then Armstead was rough for a 3-man line. Not having Dorsey until game 8 was rougher (Purcell + Bellore + Wilhoite = ).
I think it's reasonable to conclude the DL 'could' be a strength when/if ever healthy together (with depth) and even more so if we can get back real ILB's behind them to plug holes and institute a gap integrity scheme once O'Neil is gone.
Agree with the rest especially once we move on from Bethea, Reid and Brock.

Id say potential is our only real strength.
Good deaft position, plenty money for FA. Decent young talent on some parts of the team. If we were to get lucky and get 2-3 impact players from the draft/fa we'd be in decent shape. Problem is that prob wont happen.

Our power run offensive line....to bad we run zone! If Harbaugh was still here, our O-line would be the talk of the NFL, as we lined up for a play off run. This roster needs a total rebuild to play Chips style. Baalkie is the wrong GM for Chip Kelly. Trent looks for size, over speed. None of Trents skill position draft picks can catch for s**t, but they all block like bulldozers!

Before the Chicago game I would have said the team's main strength was that they were still playing with pretty good enthusiasm even though their win-loss record was abysmal. I don't know if they still have that spirit; they looked kind of broken in Chicago. I hope the Chicago game was an anomaly and they play their hearts out against the Jets.

Hard to argue that: Staley - Garnett - Kilgore - Tiller - Brown + a FB and blocking TE's and extra OL in short yardage and goal line situations and 2-back sets.
Kelly be like, "Eff that, we're running inside zone peeps...alll day long!"
Modkins be like, "Why?"
Miller be like, "I'm outta here then...RayMac-style!"
Fans be like, " Here we go again..."
