This was a closer game than the score indicated imo. The offense stalling in the second half is becoming a trend and had they just threatened a bit more, perhaps the defense would not have folded the way it did. Another trend is how we can point to a handful of key moments where the game slipped away. BUF defense played tricks on the 49ers all game long with well executed stunts to stifle the run game. They'd give the illusion to Hyde/Davis that there was a lot of daylight then immediately had a LB fill the hole just as the RB was running into the hole. BUF game planned very well against the 49er run game.

oh hey you still post here, I thought you said you were leaving for the chiefs forum.
That explains his happy demeanor. I know you're a big fan of Marcus Peters too so maybe you can become BFF's? No?

Tyrod hasn't taken a year off. Kap's armstrength did not weaken. His arm is just as strong as ever. The off or tight throws have more to do with rust. Right now, his throws will be a little choppy but the more he plays at game speed, the smoother he will get in his throwing and he will get more accurate.
I actually think his arm has weakened. He's lost significant muscle mass. That doesn't mean it can't come back but we won't see it this year.
I'm not sure if 15-20 pounds affects arm strength. I'm not sure if weight affects armstrength much at all. Throwing more will help him get the trajectory back and I think that's what was affected most by him not throwing much in live game action. Some throws need to be made quicker than what he is accustomed to make in practice. He will get the game speed trajectory back after 2 or 3 games.
So here's a Kelly question. If we see Torrey Smith blowing by a DB and Kaepernick misses him deep (better than an underthrown INT), why don't we come back to that play?

I thought we did. Didn't the over throw happen before the TD to Torrey? I'm sure we would like to try it every play but the opponent probably isn't letting us have it every play.

That was badly underthrown but IIRC, that was a different route. Just a chess match question...

The TD? I thought he was throwing it to not f**k up a pass to a wide open target. If he leads him, Torrey possibly catches it and then gets out of bounds. That TD throw had nothing to do with weak arm and everything to do with it being a "I don't want to f**k this up throw".

Not to mention cutting Garrison Smith who did great in preseason and is now with the hawks.....

The longest throw he had was 30 yards to a wide open Justin Hunter. IIRC.

Are you watching the games? O'Neil doesn't even use a 3-4 NT. He RARELY has his nose tackle head up playing a true 0 technique.
What's the point of having an NT if the dumbass defensive coordinator is not going to use them?
