Rathman doesn't have gray hair, has no heart problems and can probably still get it up w/out Viagra... coach a bunch of primodonnas / divas, knuckleheads, grown men that don't like to listen (this ain't college) and those things start to appear

He should be the one to be throwin up day in and day out as he watch these NEW GUYS just continues to destroy CAMELOT.. Look at what Harbaugh is doing at Michigan.. that team is currently at #4, but believe me, they are a bit OVERRATED.. the team is solid for sure, but with them believing in him, all of a sudden, they play like they CANT BE BEAT..

and look what ex-LB (Fitzpatrick) did to his Northwestern team... when he was there, Northwestern went to the Rose Bowl as one of the solid team PAC 10 has ever seen... he's done a great job keeping his alma matter from going back to oblivion !!

RATHMAN must start considering being that WC coordinator.. he knows the plays, he was there !!! he should know how to run it!!

I think you meant Fitzgerald and I'm guessing your referencing the 1996 rose bowl where Northwestern loss to USC. Dude was a beast linebacker and Northwestern had a great defense that year. Fitzgerald has done well for himself as a coach. And your right with far inferior talent he has managed to atleast keep his program relevant.

Rathman is one of my all time favorite player, but what has ever done as coach...yeah. not much.

it is why I keep in scratching my head each time Rathman's name is being mentioned and how he just wants to coach the RB.. the guy knows our WCO.. he lead the league (RBs) at one point with over 73 catches... all he has to do is get those game plans back, put together a freakin playbook, study it, and BOOM..

the guy owes it to himself, he owes it to the team.. is he really happy enough to just have a say "if you don't cut this punk LAWRENCE PHILLIPS (rip), I'm gonna quit"..

What moon doesn't understand is that any Offensive coordinator under chip is just a quality control coach. Why would he leave a job he loves and is one of the best at to be a clipboard holder for chip? Some people just don't get it, no matter how long they been looking at this game. lol
