York spent money for players when he needed fans votes for a new stadium. Since he got the stadium, not so much. Davis might be doing the same thing to get LV to build him a stadium. If Davis continues to do what's needed to win over the next few years then the answer will be obvious.

The huge difference between the two is Jed thinks because he sat on Jennifer Montana lap and hung around Bill Walsh and his uncle as a toddler he is the football messiah for this franchise.Mark Davis grew up with the same kind of football celebrities from his fathers organization but is smart enough to let football people run his football team and not try to be a real life Madden GM.
