It's exactly the same. Your second half analysis is correct but it has more to do with this coaching staffs inability to make any adjustments at half than Kaepernick. Is it the QB's job to adjust to adjust the entire offense to what the opposing team changes at half?
Don't be fooled yourself. The team was getting blasted in the second half with Gabbert too. This is on the coaches. The fact that these two are being compared to each other tells you all you need to know. Both are hot garbage
