Tipped pass for an INT. Fumbled KO return. Running into the kicker penalty. All costly mistakes that led directly to ARI points. Perhaps the outcome would have been the same regardless had those mistakes not occurred, but it definitely would have been a closer game.

Creatively. At least it keeps us guessing.

After having a day to digest this game, some simple observations that come to mind.
Wasnt the issue with ONeils scheme in Cleveland that the dlineman were instructed not to maintain gap integrity? Its clear that with his scheme, any strength in the dline is exposed.
It appears the secondary becomes the strength of the defense for lack of better terms.
Whats happened to Quinton Dial? Is it scheme? He has not been the good run stopper that he has been in the past. Is he playing injured?
Arik Armstead is clearly playing hurt. Hes better then this. Do we IR him or keep him out there for the experience factor?
Tramaine Brock needs to be benched... like yesterday. How was his PFF score that high in week 5? He is just not that good. Would he be better in the slot role? I doubt it.
Chris Davis should be released. He was a fluke in training camp. Please have Kerley or Mike Davis handle kickoff return duties. He offers absolutely nothing there. What about KeShawn Martin?
Wont matter who starts at QB from this roster. They all stink!
Garrett Celek had an awful day.
The positives..
Rashard Robinson looked strong again. I think we have 2 very good aggressive corners in Ward and Robinson. With some adequate pass rush they would be even better. Exciting to see Robinson play this well.
Jeremy Kerley gave Mathieu all he could handle. We have found a good solid #2 or #3 receiver. Especially operating in the slot. He can get open! Patton is still garbage.
Oline is better then what they showed. Those AZ blitz schemes are hard to game plan for. I suspect we will do a much better job next time.
Nick Bellore flashed. Even Borland struggled at first behind a nasty dline. Interested to see how he will do going forward.
Regardless of those who like Chip Kelly, hes going to be here for a minimum of 3 years. I like him. The talent is just not on the field to execute.. especially at qb and wr. Im willing to give him a pass. At least we have 11 games to go and see how we fare. Regardless our 1st pick has to be a qb next yr.
