I believe in the system and want to give it sometime. I don't believe in Gabbert.

I voted no but my theory on Kelly's offense is yes and no. This offense will do damage to that 3 to 9 win team but once you get playing against 10+ win teams, this offense will not have success because of the usual talent of the defenses on those teams. A fast and discipline defense is what kills a Chip Kelly offense. That's what we did when we played him. Smart teams just need to go base defense, keep everything in front, and let their NFL caliber speed chase down the horizontal catches.

It's not realistic to lose faith after 3 games, but I understand we're in NT.

I think Chip Kelly needs to take his own advice and evolve. He has some very good ideas and application of things but he needs to evolve to mix it with an NFL style offense to enhance the NFL offense.
The NFL rules forces a slower tempo. So, if the tempo is slower, then he should be able to add to the playbook. Why not line up in a 2RB formation, and get the QB under center after the play is called? Then set that up so the next immediate play is out of shotgun? He needs to incorporate these things and still play fast. Maybe not as fast as he would like, but the NFL rules are already dictating this.
He needs to let the NFL players be what they are, and that's professionals, which means they can handle more complicated blocking schemes with different running plays.

If your qb can't complete basic nfl passes your offense will always struggle.

I watched his teams at Oregon and Philly, they drew my attention and I looked forward to seeing his play calling. He's won with substandard QB's, no reason he can't do it here. There will be progress this season and next year he finds his QB.

Other teams in the league are having more success. I am sure it is a combination of QB and WR ability.

People need to realize a coach can only call plays that his offensive players can actually run....chip can only polish up a turd so much.
This. When you have a QB that hesitates to throw beyind 5 yards there is only so much you can call.

He really isnt. The perfect QB is someone who is a quick decision maker, has a quick release and is consistently accurate throwing from 5 to 20 yards.

I'm not sure. I don't think he hesitates. I think he is just too quick to go to the default option when the defense is playing the correct defense on that play. His problem is that he is not able to move the defense or allow his receiver to try to get open. He is too robotic and that was my problem with Alex Smith. He doesn't trust his receivers either because he rarely throws it when they are even and when he does, his ball placement is horrible.

QB s don't run block or catch their own passes. Or drop them. The only part of this offense that is functioning is pass blocking.
They should at least look around to make sure their RB is in the backfield on the first offensive play of the game.
Run blocking is a lot harder when you know your QB isn't gonna throw the ball more than 5 yards and players are down near the box.

Kaeperknick is supposed to be the perfect QB for his system? ...I'd like to see Streater and Burbridge get a shot to play with Smith in those 3 WR sets
I wouldn't say he's a perfect fit at all, I don't think he's accurate enough but I do think he would help the run game and push the ball down field much much much better than Blaine train.
I got no problem with them moving around WRs

He hesitates. He looks so afraid to make a mistake that he will routinely turn down plays to be made downfield to look for a check down. When he does let it rip he often ends up doing his patented bunny hop and the throw winds up off target.
I think that this is just who he is at this point. A track record of the same issues with the 49ers and Jacksonville and even going back to his college days.
